How to honor yourself...
Don't invite? Don't follow.
→ People who really want us there will invite themselves. Following only makes us seem to try to be on one side.
Don't give? Don't ask.
→ Repeated requests for attention or feelings from anyone subconsciously devalue us. What should be ours... do not ask.
Don't see? Back away.
→ Living only makes us doubt ourselves. Retreat is not intolerance, but self-healing.
Got tricked? Know this enough.
→ Don't waste your revenge or explanation. Just know what he looks like and don't go back.
Neglected? Don't contact again.
→ His silence is the most obvious answer. People who want to have us in life won't let us feel like they don't exist.
Don't find? Don't run after.
→ A good relationship should not be followed by anyone. If he does not turn, just walk.
Do not invite to join? Do not interfere.
→ Forced into a place where he doesn't want us. It hurts his own dignity more than he thinks.
Don't listen? Stop explaining.
→ People who do not listen carefully do not understand how many more times they speak. Keep the power to those who value us better.
Being tricked? Forgive. And move on.
→ Forgiveness is not for him, but to keep our hearts light; and not to carry the past with the future.
Finally...
Honoring yourself.
Not being mean to others.
But it's to be "kind enough to yourself."
Some people come in to teach.
Some people come in to stay.
And someone... came in to let us know
How much should we "choose ourselves"?
