หลังจากที่ได้อ่านปลายเทียนไปสามบท รู้สึกถึงความลุ่มลึกของเรื่องราวที่ไม่ใช่แค่เรื่องราวความรักธรรมดาเท่านั้น แต่ยังแฝงด้วยความลึกลับของการเดินทางข้ามกาลเวลา การนำเสนอผ่านตัวละครสร้อยสุมาลีและเพชรกล้าที่ต้องเผชิญกับโลกยุคปัจจุบันทำให้ผู้อ่านได้สัมผัสความแตกต่างของเวลาและสังคมอย่างชัดเจน ส่วนตัวชื่นชอบการผสมผสานรูปแบบนิยายกับบทเสภา ซึ่งเพิ่มความคลาสสิกและกลิ่นอายวรรณคดีไทยอย่างขุนช้างขุนแผน แม้ว่าบทเสภาจะทำให้บางช่วงงงเล็กน้อย แต่ก็ช่วยสร้างบรรยากาศและตัวละครมีมิติขึ้นมากกว่าปกติ สิ่งที่ประทับใจมากคือการใช้สมุดข่อยโบราณเป็นกุญแจเปิดประตูสู่การผจญภัยข้ามเวลาซึ่งสร้างความน่าสนใจและเพิ่มเสน่ห์ให้กับเรื่องนี้อย่างไม่น่าเบื่อ อีกทั้งความสับสนและความจริงที่ต้องพิสูจน์ในยุคปัจจุบันยังทำให้เรื่องราวเต็มไปด้วยความตื่นเต้นและชวนติดตาม จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวที่เคยอ่านนิยายพีเรียดมาก่อน การที่ปลายเทียนผสมผสานแฟนตาซีและโรแมนติกเข้าด้วยกันได้อย่างลงตัว ทำให้เรื่องนี้เหมาะสำหรับคนที่ชอบอ่านนิยายหลากหลายแบบ และยังมีความลึกซึ้งจากมุมมองทางวัฒนธรรมและประวัติศาสตร์ไทยด้วย หากใครชื่นชอบนิยายที่ไม่ใช่แค่ความรัก แต่ยังมีความแฟนตาซีและการผจญภัยข้ามเวลา ร่วมลุ้นและไขปริศนาในปลายเทียน จะเป็นการอ่านที่คุ้มค่าและสร้างความประทับใจไม่น้อยเลยทีเดียว
