実際に行ってみて感じたのは、「景色のいいカフェ／レストランを埼玉で探してる人」にかなり刺さるスポットだということ。31階からさいたま市内を見渡せて、まさに“天空カフェ”。しかも庁舎内のレストランなので、価格が良心的なのがうれしいポイントです。 行く前にいちばん気になるのが入館方法だと思うのですが、ここは新都心合同庁舎の中にあるため入館証が必要になります。といっても構えなくて大丈夫で、受付で代表者が「名前」と「人数」を記入するだけでOKでした。身分証の提示が求められる場合もあるので、念のため持っていくと安心です。 「スカイビューカフェ けやき」の楽しみ方としておすすめなのが、窓側のカウンター席。ここは景色の迫力が段違いで、まさに特等席でした。ただし席数が限られていて埋まりやすいので、絶対に窓側で食べたい人は早めの到着が無難です（ランチ時間は特に）。 メニューは軽食・スイーツ・ランチまで揃っていて、迷ったら“本日のパスタ（サラダ・スープ・ドリンク付き）”が満足度高め。甘いもの派ならティラミス＋コーヒーのセットが手頃で、景色を見ながらゆっくりできます。ドリンクは写真映えする富士山ソーダもあって、天空カフェ感を盛り上げたい時にぴったりでした。 注意点としては、営業が平日昼のみ（11:30〜15:30）で土日祝休みなところ。週末に行きたい人は要注意です。また駐車場がないので、さいたま新都心駅周辺から徒歩や公共交通で行くのがスムーズでした。 「けやきカフェレストランって実際どう？」と迷っているなら、個人的には“天気の良い平日”に行くのがベスト。コスパ最強の天空レストラン体験ができて、ちょっとしたご褒美ランチにも使える場所でした。
