🌸 BECOMING HER #8

Sometimes Growth Looks Like Letting Go.

HER realized that not everything was meant to go with her into the next season.

Some habits had to change.

Some relationships had to end.

Some mindsets had to be replaced.

Some versions of herself had to be released.

She stopped grieving the woman she used to be…

and started embracing the woman she was becoming.

Because sometimes the greatest act of faith isn’t holding on—

it’s trusting God enough to let go.

📖 Verse of the Day

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” — Isaiah 43:18–19

Reflection

God cannot always fill hands that refuse to release what’s no longer meant to be carried. Letting go isn’t losing—it’s making room for what He has prepared for you. Trust Him with every closed chapter, because He is still writing your story.

✨ Become HER one choice at a time.

... Read moreSometimes growth truly looks like letting go, and from my own experience, I've found this to be one of the most challenging but rewarding journeys a person can take. There came a turning point in my life when I realized that holding onto certain habits, relationships, and old ways of thinking was hindering not only my personal development but also my spiritual walk. The phrase “Sometimes Growth Looks Like Letting Go” became a guiding light for me. It reminded me that embracing change is essential to evolve into the person I was meant to become. This process isn't about loss but about creating space for new opportunities and blessings. Just like the verse from Isaiah 43:18-19 says, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!"—this scripture perfectly encapsulates the faith required to trust in what lies ahead instead of gripping tightly to what’s behind. Letting go also means releasing the guilt and grief associated with who you used to be. It’s about forgiving yourself and others, recognizing that everyone grows at different paces, and that some relationships naturally come to an end to make room for healthier connections. From personal experience, I can say that this act of release ultimately brought me deeper peace and clarity. On this path, I learned that growth is not linear. Some days it feels like a leap forward; others, a step back. But each choice—however small—to let go of what doesn't serve you brings you closer to the authentic self you are becoming. Trusting God in this process has been foundational because I believe He is still writing my story, making every closed chapter meaningful and preparing me for the next season with hope. For anyone navigating this journey, my encouragement is to practice patience and self-compassion. Celebrate each victory, no matter how small, and remind yourself that growth often requires courage—the courage to say goodbye, the courage to embrace the unknown, and the courage to become more fully yourself.
