... Read moreMany of us struggle daily with feelings of inadequacy and rejection, wondering if we are truly enough. From personal experience, I’ve realized that basing my self-worth on other people’s acceptance only leads to frustration and self-doubt because opinions are always changing. Instead, grounding my identity in the truth of God’s love has been transformative. When you internalize that you are deeply loved, chosen, and valued by your Creator, the sting of being overlooked or rejected lessens significantly. This mindset shift doesn’t happen overnight; it’s a continual process of choosing to listen to God’s voice over the noise of the world. There will still be moments of doubt, but returning to scriptures like 1 John 3:1 reinforces that our value isn’t conditional or debatable. Learning to remind myself daily of this divine truth has helped me develop resilience and confidence. Additionally, seeking validation from others often leads to unhealthy attachments. Instead, investing time in prayer, meditation on God’s word, and surrounding oneself with supportive, faith-filled people strengthens this foundation. Remember, being alone isn’t a sign of being unloved—it can be a period of growth and deeper understanding of who you are in God’s eyes. To truly 'become her,' embrace your unique worth as God’s masterpiece. Know that rejection by people does not define you; God’s unchanging love does. This realization empowers you to live authentically, courageously, and with peaceful assurance in your intrinsic value.
