🌸 BECOMING HER #16
Don’t Forget to Live.
HER spent so much time waiting…
Waiting to heal.
Waiting to feel ready.
Waiting for the right relationship.
Waiting for life to finally make sense.
She forgot that today was a gift too.
Then God reminded her…
You don’t have to wait for the storm to end to experience the sunshine.
Joy can exist in the middle of uncertainty.
In a sunset.
A good laugh.
A solo date.
A walk outside.
A phone call with someone who loves you.
A quiet morning with coffee and prayer.
So she stopped postponing her happiness.
She started saying yes to little adventures.
She smiled more.
She rested more.
She laughed without feeling guilty.
Because life isn’t only about surviving the hard seasons.
It’s also about embracing the beautiful moments God gives you along the way.
Don’t wait for life to become perfect before you decide to enjoy it.
There’s still beauty here.
There’s still joy here.
And there’s still life to be lived.

🤍 Reflection
Don’t put your life on pause while you’re waiting for everything to fall into place. God is present in this moment, too. Laugh. Explore. Make memories. Celebrate small victories. Healing and joy can walk hand in hand.
✨ Become HER one choice at a time.

In my own journey towards healing and personal growth, I've often found myself waiting for the 'right time'—to feel ready, to have everything perfectly aligned before embracing joy. But this narrative reminded me that life’s beauty is not postponed until we’re completely healed or until our circumstances are ideal. Instead, joy can be a choice we make every day, even during challenging times. One powerful way I’ve learned to experience joy amidst uncertainty is by intentionally carving out simple moments for myself, like a solo walk outdoors or savoring a quiet morning with coffee and prayer. These small rituals became anchors of peace and gratitude, helping me reframe my mindset from waiting to actively living. I also started saying yes more often to little adventures—a spontaneous get-together, a new hobby, or even a phone call with someone I love. These experiences brought bursts of happiness and reminded me that healing doesn’t mean joy has to be on hold. The Psalm verse shared, “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it,” became a daily mantra. It reminds me that each day holds unique blessings, no matter the external circumstances. If you find yourself stuck waiting like 'HER' in the story, remember: you don’t have to wait for the storm to pass to enjoy the sunshine. Healing and joy can coexist. Embracing this truth transformed my outlook and empowered me to live fully, one joyful choice at a time.
