Finished Audio Book

And honestly, sometimes it’s just not the right time for a particular story, and that’s perfectly okay. There’s no shame in setting an audiobook aside and coming back to it later, or even deciding it’s just not for you. Speaking of covers, the visual appeal can sometimes draw me in, even if the story doesn't immediately grab me. The dark, shattered design of the Wretched cover, with its green and purple tones, definitely caught my eye and hinted at the twisted fairytale within. It promised something intriguing, and thankfully, the story delivered in a way that kept me listening right to the end! It reminded me that even if a series starts slow for me, sometimes sticking with it, or trying a different book in the series, can lead to a truly rewarding experience, just like Wretched turned out to be for me. It's a journey, and every finished audiobook feels like a little victory!
