Day 44: 100 days of Halloween

It was definitely 'A Good Time'! For anyone wondering why I'd be hitting up Spirit Halloween so early, it’s simple: #Summerween is real, and the early bird gets the best scare! Seriously, visiting during what I like to call the "halfway to Halloween" period means you get first dibs on all the coolest decorations and costumes before they sell out. No battling crowds, just pure spooky browsing bliss. This year, I was instantly drawn into their 'WELCOME TO THE CARNIVAL FUNHOUSE' entrance. It set the perfect creepy tone! You just know you're in for a treat (or a trick). The attention to detail in their displays is always fantastic, from the 'TICKETS' booth with a giant spider prop to the eerie clown figures lurking in the background. It truly ignites that #halloweenaesthetic I adore. Of course, no Spirit Halloween trip is complete without spotting some horror icons. I was thrilled to see so much Ghost Face merchandise this year! From sparkly silver backpacks to sleek black and white crossbody bags, there were options for every fan. And can we talk about the Ghost Face pet costume? My heart melted! Imagining my furry friend in a hooded jumpsuit and mask was just too much. They also had adorable plush figures, including a small, stylized Ghost Face holding a red knife, right alongside other legends like Michael Myers. And yes, I definitely gave a high-five to a plush angry pumpkin head and spooky skeleton body, which was nestled right next to a green Oogie Boogie. The variety of figures and props, like the orange pumpkin-headed skeletons and those darker, mossy skeletons, gives me so many ideas for my own Halloween setup.
