Balance is so important, I’ve realized dieting stresses me out too much, therefore I choose to still have my fun meals once in a while.

Dieting does work for some people, my boyfriend is completely content dieting if it means he reaches his specific goals. But I take lifting on a less serious note and do it for fun. Therefore, I can have more fun meals and still be happy with my progress in the gym.
