I stopped waiting for the “perfect moment.”
I used to think I needed a full, uninterrupted hour to work on myself.
A quiet home.
A clear mind.
A perfect moment.
But real life isn’t like that — especially as a mom.
Life happens in pieces.
In movement.
In noise.
In between everything else.
Lately, I’ve been learning that progress can happen in small pockets of time:
5 minutes while waiting.
10 minutes while the kids are busy.
A slow start to the morning.
A pause before bed.
It doesn’t have to look big to matter.
Small steps still count.
They add up quietly.
They shape the future gently.
So if you’re starting small,
or starting slow,
or starting again…
that’s still starting.
From my own experience, the biggest breakthrough comes from recognizing that growth doesn’t need to happen all at once. When I realized that even five or ten minutes were enough to make a difference, it felt liberating. I started to use waiting times, morning pauses, and quiet moments before bed to nurture my goals and mental well-being. This approach is especially practical for parents and anyone juggling multiple responsibilities. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by the need for uninterrupted time, try to find small ways to keep moving forward. Maybe it’s reading a page of a book, doing a short meditation, or jotting down thoughts and plans. These tiny efforts compound and help build lasting habits. I also remind myself with the phrase from a favorite quote I saw recently: "Just Keep Showin Up." It’s a simple but powerful reminder that steady, consistent effort in those small moments truly shapes progress. So don’t wait for perfection—embrace the imperfect, fragmented moments—they hold more potential than you might think.

Absolutely the right mindset 👍
