I think it’s time for me to upgrade my laptop ☹️

I have had this laptop since ‘22 and now it’s starting to fail on me now lately, it would freeze randomly and I can fan blowing really loud at random too, not sure if I need to buy one or just have it check out lol. It’s starting to bug me while I’m doing assignments 😭 are there any good laptops that I can use for school??

“Honestly that sounds like it could be overheating (dust in the fan or thermal paste), so if you wanna save money it might be worth getting it checked first. BUT if you do upgrade, for school I’d recommend something lightweight with good battery life. The MacBook Air (M1 or M2) is great if you’re in the Apple ecosystem. If you want Windows, the Dell XPS 13, Lenovo IdeaPad, or HP Pavilion are solid and affordable options. Just make sure it has at least 16GB RAM and an SSD. Hope that helps
