Wicked: For Good

I have been such a bad theater kid and have not had time to see Wicked: For Good. Luckily I have peacock and since I have the house to myself I wanted to make a fun movie snack with my new Philips 3000 Series Airfryer.

This is a Philips / Theater household and I am here for it.

Here is the recipe so you all can make these fantastical treats at home!

Ingredients:

1 Sheet of puff pasty, thawed

3/4 cup of green filling *

1 egg (optional for golden finish)

* Green Filling

Avocado Mozzarella Smash : Mash 1 ripe avocado, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1/4 cup mozzarella, pinch of salt.

Directions:

1. Unfold puff pastry into a rectangle.

2. Spread green filling evenly over half the sheet in a thin layer.

3> Fold pastry over to cover filling.

cut into 1-inch strips.

5. Twist each strip, then place in Air fryer basket. Brush with egg wash if desired.

6. Air fry at 375 degrees for 8-10 min or until golden brown.

Thats it!

Now I can finally see Wicked : For Good in the comfort of my own home thanks to it now streaming only on peacock.

Using an air fryer like the Philips 3000 Series has been a game changer in my kitchen—it's fast, efficient, and produces perfectly crispy results without the extra oil. The avocado mozzarella smash filling adds a creamy, tangy flavor that complements the light, flaky puff pastry beautifully. I love that it’s made from fresh ingredients like ripe avocado, lemon juice, and mozzarella with just a pinch of salt, making it both tasty and a bit healthier than typical snack options. Twisting the puff pastry strips after filling them is a simple technique that gives the finished product a whimsical look and a satisfying crunch. Brushing them with an egg wash before air frying ensures they develop a golden, appetizing color, making them look as good as they taste. These treats pair wonderfully with the theatrical vibe of Wicked: For Good, creating a cozy and magical viewing experience right in your own home. Plus, being able to whip them up quickly while streaming on Peacock means you won’t miss any part of the show. I recommend trying different variations of green fillings as well—spinach and artichoke, pesto, or a herbed cream cheese can add new flavors to your snack time. Overall, using the Philips Airfryer for such creative recipes not only saves time but also elevates your movie night snacks to something special. This recipe is perfect for anyone who wants to combine theater love with delicious homemade treats made easy.
