What I didn’t buy 🙅‍♀️

Went on a small family outing and stopped by 5 Bellow on this rainy Sunday afternoon 🌧️

Here is what I didn’t buy:

1. A strawberry glass cup with a lid and straw 🍓 there was even a matching strawberry glass drink dispenser.

2. Silicone travel tubes, I travel a lot for work so I might come back for these.

3. An adorable glass slipper cup, this was the only one I saw in the whole store.

4. A cutie pink Starbucks tumbler dupe.

5. These fun noodle bowls!

6. Snack tumbler.

7. Digital luggage scale, this would totally come in handy.

8. This framed tufted wall art. I’m loving blue lately.

9. A scented squish journal and pen set, I wish I had this when I was in school!

Even though I walked away from all of these cute items I still ended up with a bag a fun and useful items!

... Read moreOkay, so you've seen my 'didn't buy' list from my latest Five Below adventure, and let me tell you, it was genuinely tough to walk away from some of those finds! Especially that viral Room Room Sipper Mug. I spotted it, and my first thought was, 'Oh, this is the one everyone's talking about!' It's such a cute, clear, ribbed design with that perfect light blue straw, promising all the iced coffee vibes for just five dollars. The OCR even confirmed it’s a 13 oz capacity, which is ideal for a quick drink at my desk. But, in an effort to declutter my kitchen cabinets (which are currently overflowing with tumblers!), I reluctantly decided to pass. However, if you're on the hunt for a stylish and affordable drinkware option, I highly recommend keeping an eye out for it – it's a fantastic value and looks much more expensive than its price tag! Beyond the sipper mug, there were so many other tempting items that almost made it into my Five Below plastic bag. Those silicone travel tubes, for instance, are something I’ve eyed before. As someone who travels frequently for work, having compact, leak-proof containers for toiletries is a game-changer. I already have a set, but these new ones looked even sturdier! And let's not forget the digital luggage scale. How many times have I stressed about overweight bags at the airport? This little gadget, for just five bucks, could save so much hassle. It’s definitely on my list for a future trip, along with that handy snack tumbler – perfect for staying fueled on the go. The beauty of Five Below isn't just about what you buy, but also the thrill of the hunt. It’s a treasure trove where you can discover everything from unique home decor, like that framed tufted wall art (the 'Let's just have fun' design in blue was so charming!), to nostalgic stationery finds, like the scented squish journal and pen set. I remember wishing I had something so fun back in school! It's amazing how they manage to stock such a diverse range of items, often mirroring popular trends or offering clever 'dupes' of higher-priced brands. That pink Starbucks tumbler dupe, for example, was incredibly convincing and stylish for a fraction of the cost. My shopping strategy at Five Below usually involves a mix of practical essentials and pure impulse buys. I always check out the seasonal aisles for festive decorations or gifts, and I love browsing the kitchenware for unique items like those fun noodle bowls. Even though I didn't grab them this time, they looked perfect for cozy movie nights. The joy is in finding those unexpected, budget-friendly items that genuinely add a little spark to your day without breaking the bank. So, even though I had a 'didn't buy' list, my Five Below plastic bag wasn't empty – it was filled with other fantastic finds that I'm excited to share! It's about making smart choices, sometimes passing on viral items, but always finding something new and exciting. So next time you're near a Five Below, definitely stop by – you never know what treasures you'll bring home in your own Five Below plastic bag!
