... Read moreSharing my own journey of faith, I’ve often wrestled with the feeling that my struggles and imperfections make me unworthy to share the message of Jesus. Like many, I’ve experienced self-doubt and felt hypocritical when my faith faltered. Yet, it’s precisely this struggle that deepens my understanding of God’s grace — it’s not about being perfect but about being loved unconditionally.
One powerful lesson I’ve learned is that grace isn’t a reward for flawless living; it’s a gift that meets us right where we are. Whether you feel overwhelmed by shortcomings or plagued by doubt, God’s grace is enough to cover the gaps. His love doesn’t waver because it’s rooted in who He is, not in how we perform.
Reflecting on 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness," I find encouragement to embrace vulnerability. Our weaknesses are not obstacles but openings for God’s power to shine through. Being "not good enough" is a common feeling, but the truth is God uses broken people to tell His story — it’s in our imperfection that His perfect love is revealed.
From personal experience, I notice that when I stop striving for perfection and lean into God’s grace, my faith feels more authentic and my witness more relatable. It’s comforting to know that God qualifies the called, not the other way around. This truth empowers me and can empower anyone wrestling with doubt or feelings of inadequacy.
If you’ve ever feared you’re not the right person to share about Jesus, remember it’s His story of grace, mercy, and unconditional love that truly matters. Our realness, struggles, and growth can inspire others just as much as any polished testimony. Holding onto this hope, we can continue to share God’s goodness — not because we are perfect, but because our Savior is.
