ME: “JESUS, YOU CAN HAVE MY WHOLE LIFE.” ✝️🤲

From my experience, it's natural to say, “Jesus, You can have my whole life,” but when God begins to gently touch our plans and call out areas we've been holding tightly — like old grudges, carefully crafted calendars, or future ambitions — fear and resistance can arise. One of the hardest parts of surrender is the invitation to truly let go. It means releasing control over our schedules, expectations, and even people we've struggled to forgive. I’ve found that this process is not about perfection or having an organized life ready for God’s entrance. Instead, it’s about bringing our real, messy, often chaotic selves to Him daily. But surrender also brings freedom—the freedom to live without carrying burdens alone, and the peace of following Jesus with a heart willing to adapt. In Luke 9:23, Jesus calls us to take up our cross daily and follow Him. This reminds me that surrender is not a one-time event but an ongoing, loving journey.
