DIY a bag with me!

First, I cut out all my pattern pieces from the faux leather and lining fabric. I used a simple rectangular shape for the main body, with separate pieces for the sides and bottom to give it structure. Stitching the main body together was the first big win. I used a strong thread and reinforced all the seams. Then came the fun part: adding the details! I carefully attached the D-rings to the sides where the strap would go. This is where those cool chains come in! I decided on a detachable chain strap, so I could swap it out or even add more chains if I felt like it. Punched holes for the eyelets and hammered in the studs along the flap and edges – it instantly transformed the bag from basic to totally badass. Finally, I sewed in the lining, making sure all the raw edges were neatly tucked away for a professional finish. It really felt like I was creating a custom purse, piece by piece.
