Are you tired of setting up/cleaning up kiddie pools for your kids only to want to play for 30 minutes? Their pools get so gross so quick and they never clean the way I want after the first use and I personally never want to get in again.

I’m 5’4 and this is the way my feet touch the end whenever I’m laying down(just fyi in case your taller, you might want to get the bigger size). I personally like to sit up and play on my phone and/or sip a drink. To sit up, I did have to put a chair or garage behind me and move the pillow up but then it was great! The third picture is my space sitting up. My son also wants to play so much longer because I’m with him. Super easy to clean and it’s still smaller than the other kiddie pools so I just throw it in my spare room when not using!

... Read moreI've been on the hunt for the perfect summer accessory that offers both relaxation for me and a fun splash zone for my kid without the usual hassle of a giant kiddie pool. That's why I gave the Sloosh tanning bed floatie a try, and let me tell you, it's been a revelation! While the original article touched on how much I love its low maintenance, I wanted to dive deeper into why this specific tanning bed pool has become a staple in my sunny day routine. First off, let's talk about versatility. When I first heard 'tanning bed floatie,' I pictured just lying out in the sun, which it's fantastic for, of course! It’s perfect for getting that relaxed, 'plank-like' sunbathe without overheating thanks to the cool water. But I quickly discovered it's so much more. On those scorching hot afternoons, setting up this light blue inflatable pool on my wooden deck or even a concrete surface by the garage door for a quick cool-down is effortless. I'll just fill it up a bit, grab a book, and enjoy a peaceful moment. It’s like having a personal oasis without the commitment of a full-sized pool. Sometimes, I even prop myself up with a small waterproof cushion (similar to how I used a chair for sitting up in the original post) and use my metal chair nearby to hold my drink and phone, turning it into the ultimate reading nook. For parents, this Sloosh bed floatie is a godsend. My son absolutely loves splashing around in it. It’s significantly smaller than traditional kiddie pools, which means less water waste, quicker filling, and most importantly, super fast cleaning. I don't have to dread the post-play cleanup anymore! It's also much easier to supervise him when he's contained in this compact space. He feels like he has his 'own pool,' and I can relax nearby, knowing he's safe and having a blast. The fact that it’s still small enough to tuck away in my spare room is a huge bonus for anyone with limited storage. Now, a few tips for making the most of your tanning bed pool: If you're taller than me (I'm 5'4"), definitely consider sizing up if available, or be prepared for your feet to touch the end, which is totally fine if you're just looking to cool off. To keep it sparkling clean and extend its life, I make sure to empty and wipe it down after each use, especially if it's been sitting out on the concrete surface for a while. A quick rinse and then letting it air dry in the sun prevents any mildew. For longer storage, once it's completely dry, I fold it neatly and keep it in a cool, dry place. This little Sloosh floatie has truly changed my summer, offering easy relaxation and endless fun without the usual fuss. It's an investment in convenience and enjoyment that I genuinely recommend!
