Music city itinerary that doesn’t include bars 🎷🎸

Nashville has grown incredibly popular in recent years! It’s no secret that the bar scene is huge in Nashville! Broadway is packed with restaurants and bars named after celebrities we all know and love!

But if you’re looking for things to do in Nashville other than bar hop, this Nashville itinerary is for you! Check out Topgolf Nashville and practice your swing while enjoying lunch! I’m not a golfer by any means, and still had a blast playing here!

You can also see a show at Bridgestone Arena! Major country music artists play here all the time! We saw Morgan Wallen here while we were in Nashville and the show was spectacular!

Nashville may have a party reputation, but the truth is there’s so much more to do in this great city! Including visiting Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, going shopping in the Gulch district, and booking a Mural tour to see the beautiful work created by local + international artists!

Nashville

... Read moreOkay, so everyone talks about Nashville's bar scene, right? And don't get me wrong, Broadway can be a blast. But what if you're like me, and you're looking for a different kind of Nashville adventure? I've found that this city truly shines when you explore beyond the honky-tonk lights, offering experiences that are just as vibrant and memorable, whether you're a country music fan or not! First up, let's dive deeper into some spots I loved. Topgolf Nashville isn't just for serious golfers, trust me! My friends and I had a fantastic time hitting balls, enjoying some delicious food and drinks (non-alcoholic options available, of course!), and just soaking in the fun, relaxed atmosphere. It's a great way to spend an afternoon, especially if you're looking for some active fun that doesn't involve dancing on a crowded street. The energy there is contagious, and the Topgolf Nashville exterior itself is quite impressive, offering amazing views of the Nashville city skyline – perfect for those Instagram-worthy shots! Then there's Bridgestone Arena. While it's famous for hosting major country music artists, don't overlook its diverse calendar. During my visit, I saw a fantastic rock concert there, and they also host everything from basketball games to huge comedy shows. It's a world-class venue, and seeing any event there is an experience in itself, with amazing acoustics and a buzzing crowd. The vibrant night scene around the arena, even without entering a bar, is something to behold. And speaking of music, even if you're not a die-hard country music fan, a trip to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is incredibly insightful. It's less about just the genre and more about American musical history, storytelling, and the cultural impact of these artists. You’ll find fascinating exhibits, costumes, and even interactive displays that make it engaging for everyone. It really contextualizes why Nashville is 'Music City' in the first place, showcasing a rich heritage that extends beyond just modern hits. Beyond these staples, I always recommend exploring The Gulch. This trendy neighborhood is perfect for an afternoon of boutique shopping, grabbing a gourmet coffee, or finding some incredible street art. It has a completely different vibe from bustling Broadway – more laid-back, chic, and full of unique local businesses. Keep an eye out for the famous 'What Lifts You' wings mural here – it's a must-do photo op! For art lovers (and photo enthusiasts!), a dedicated Mural Tour is a must. Nashville's street art scene is incredible, with stunning pieces by local and international artists scattered throughout neighborhoods like 12 South, East Nashville, and The Gulch. You can easily spend hours discovering these colorful masterpieces, each telling its own story. It's a beautiful way to see the city's creative pulse and capture some truly unique memories. And don't forget Nashville's incredible food scene that extends far beyond bar food! From gourmet hot chicken spots to incredible brunch cafes and diverse international cuisine, there’s a culinary adventure waiting for every palate. Exploring the city's unique dining experiences is a fantastic way to enjoy Nashville without stepping foot into a honky-tonk. So next time you're planning a trip, remember that Nashville has so much more to offer than just its famous bar scene – it's a city rich with culture, art, and diverse entertainment!
