Must do activities in Dubrovnik, Croatia ðŸ‡ðŸ‡·
Dubrovnik Croatia is such a special city! We stayed in the old town which is surrounded by ancient city walls and I absolutely loved this area of Dubrovnik!!
One of my favorite activities we did was hike around the city walls which costs €35 during peak season and €15 during the off season! The views from the top are amazing and your time is unlimited! As long as you’re off the walls before they close at night, you can spend the whole day up there if you’d like! There’s even carts and small restaurants along the walls so you can stop for a snack or a drink while enjoying the views!
Another spot I recommend checking out if you visit during the summer months is Buža Bar! This small bar is a swimming spot located just on the other side of the massive city walls! It’s free to visit and swim! They also offer food and drinks for purchase. It’s the perfect place to spend a hot summer afternoon!
Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is renowned for its well-preserved medieval architecture and vibrant culture. One of the highlights of visiting this city is walking along its ancient city walls, which provide spectacular panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea and the iconic red-roofed buildings below. The hike costs €35 in peak season but is a worthwhile investment for the stunning vistas and a unique perspective on the city’s historical layout. In addition to the walls, visitors flock to Buža Bar, a hidden gem just outside the city’s fortifications. It’s a perfect spot to relax and cool off during the hot summer months, as it offers free access to swimming spots along with a selection of food and beverages for purchase. The welcoming atmosphere and stunning sea views make it an ideal location to unwind after a day of exploration. While Dubrovnik is rich in history, it also offers a variety of contemporary attractions and leisure activities. Visitors can engage in guided tours that delve into the city’s history, take boat trips to nearby islands, or simply wander through the picturesque old town, filled with quaint shops, charming cafes, and delicious restaurants. To fully experience Dubrovnik, consider timing your visit for the early morning or late afternoon when the sunlight enhances the beauty of the ancient stone buildings and the bustling streets are less crowded. Whether you’re interested in history, stunning views, or simply relaxing by the sea, Dubrovnik promises an unforgettable escape for every type of traveler.
