Maine is a great place to visit no matter what time of year it is! There are fun activities happening in Maine during every season!

Here is my seasonal travel guide to Maine:

MAINE SUMMER:

- Visit the beaches — Pine Point or Old Orchard Beach are fan favorites!

- Explore portlands Old Port — a beautiful historic coastal city!

- Take a ferry to Peaks Island — great for a day trip!

- Dine at an outdoor restaurant — I love Luke's Lobster Portland Pier

- Go hiking — northern Maine has an amazing mountain range!

- Visit Maine’s iconic lighthouses — I recommend Nubble Lighthouse or Portland Head Light!

MAINE FALL:

- Go apple picking 🍎

- Go hiking — to see the beautiful foliage!

- Pick pumpkins — and then carve them and roast the seeds!

- Visit a corn maze — fun activity for all ages!

- Head to Cellardoor Winery Portland for a wine tasting

MAINE WINTER:

- Go skiing — Sugarloaf Mountain is a great ski resort in Maine!

- Try a new restaurant

- Go ice skating

- Rent a cozy cabin up north or along the coast!

Definitely visit Portland, ME and the old port area, we have some great shopping and restaurants...don't forget your Lobstah! head up the coast on rte1 for all kinds of interesting stops too

Recent places I’ve been to in Maine (I’m from there and currently live there) -Color Me Mine (paint your own pottery) -N to Tail (korean BBQ that you grill your own food) -Meow Lounge (cat people - my mom went there and had a lot of fun)
