Hiking the first place sunlight touches in the US

This is one of my favorite summits in Acadia National Park and for good reason, it’s probably also the most famous + most visited spot! The Cadillac Mountain summit has one of the most breathtaking views in Acadia National Park.

If you hike to the top, there are multiple trails you can take! The length of each trail varies but you can expect to spend between 2-4 hours for a round trip hike! However if you’re not a big hiking fan — you can still experience this view by driving to the top of the mountain!

Pro tip: bring snacks and have a picnic at the top while enjoying the incredible mountain meets ocean views!
