Cheap & Funny Halloween costume idea 🧽😂
This costume had everyone laughing out loud. The costume was cheap, funny and honestly comfortable!
To pull off our Mr. Clean costume idea we picked up bald caps at spirit Halloween (although they didn’t match our skin tones very well), we wore all white outfits that we already had, and grabbed some Mr. Clean magic eraser boxes to wear around our necks. Lastly we put white face paint in our eyebrows and that completed our look!
This is a costume I would definitely wear again!

Okay, so you're thinking about rocking a Mr. Clean costume this Halloween? Let me tell you, it's an absolute winner for getting laughs and it's surprisingly simple to put together! We went for a 'funny Mr. Clean' vibe, and it was a hit. People kept asking for photos, which just made it even more fun. First off, let's talk about the essentials for that iconic 'full body' look. Beyond the bald cap, which is a must for Mr. Clean, you really want to commit to the all-white ensemble. We just used white t-shirts and white pants we already owned – super budget-friendly! If you don't have them, thrift stores are your best friend. The key is to look clean, pristine, and ready to tackle any mess. For the bald caps, we got ours from a Halloween store, and while they didn't perfectly match our skin tone, it actually added to the humor! Don't stress too much about perfection; it's all part of the charm. Now, for the hilarious details that make this a true 'Mr. Clean Halloween costume': the eyebrows! This is where you can have some fun. We used white face paint to create those distinct, bushy white eyebrows. And yes, to answer that burning question: does Mr. Clean have eyebrows? Traditionally, in his classic look, he actually doesn't have visible eyebrows, or they're very subtle! So, adding prominent white brows is a fantastic, funny twist that really makes people do a double-take and adds to the comedic effect. It's a small detail that gets big laughs! The 'eraser costume' element is crucial too, and it's what truly ties the whole look together. Those Mr. Clean Magic Eraser boxes we wore around our necks were the star of the show! We simply punched holes in the top corners of empty boxes and threaded some string through them. You could also use ribbon or even attach them to a white lanyard. It’s an inexpensive prop that instantly communicates who you are. Imagine walking into a party with your 'Magic Eraser' ready – people loved it! Making this a 'Mr. Clean couple costume' or even a group costume is super easy. Just double up on the bald caps, white outfits, and Magic Eraser boxes! It’s even funnier with multiple Mr. Cleans cleaning up the party scene. The best part? It's incredibly comfortable. No restrictive layers or complicated pieces, just simple clothes you can move and dance in all night. We were able to enjoy the Halloween festivities without feeling hot or constrained. So, if you're aiming for a costume that's funny, recognizable, and won't break the bank, the Mr. Clean costume is definitely one to consider. It’s proof that the best Halloween ideas often come from the simplest concepts. Get ready for a night full of smiles and compliments! It’s a costume that promises a clean sweep of fun for your Halloween!
