My hands/nails before

My nails got so brittle after each kid, and with my anxiety I’ve been picking at them. I need advice on best ways to get stronger nails and how I can stop anxiously picking them.

Also it drives me nuts that ny hands look so stumpy after having kids. Even when I lose the weight, they just look stubby. 😭

Many new mothers face issues like brittle nails due to hormonal shifts, dietary changes, and stress. To improve nail strength, consider a diet rich in vitamins A, C, biotin, and protein, which are essential for healthy nail growth. Supplements like biotin may also help, but it's advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new regimen. To address nail-picking anxiety, techniques such as mindfulness and stress management can be beneficial. Consider practicing relaxation methods like deep breathing, or engage in hobbies that keep your hands busy. Additionally, maintaining nail hygiene through regular manicures can help you feel better about their appearance and reduce the urge to pick at them. Communities and forums are great resources to share experiences and tips. Engaging with others who know what you’re going through can provide emotional support and helpful ideas. Remember, you're not alone in this struggle, and by taking small steps, you can regain confidence in your nails and hands after motherhood.

I have a nail kit by my bed. Definitely helped me grow my nails out! I do my nails once a week let them breathe over the weekend before repainting them with the hardener. I also file them time to time to keep the shape and have no snags. Onyx has great nail stuff.
