piercing tour & pain scale
i love each and everyone piercings!
lobes: the reason i gave the lobes a 1/10 because the lobes actually aren’t bad you’ll feel the needle go thru but it jus feels hot and warm honestly, takes 3 months to heal.
double helix: the double helix really didn’t hurt to me depending on your pain tolerance, to me it just felt a little bit of pressure, it take a couple of months to heal it doesn’t heal easily, at least clean when you wake up and go to bed .
rook: honestly the rook hurts a little bit especially when the needle goes thru u do feel pressure, but the piercing does get irritating most of the time, make sure u don’t sleep on the ear u have the rook in, please make sure u clean because it can get a irritation bump clean at least 2-3 times a day .
daith: the daith is maybe one of my painful piercings, the reason i got a daith is because i have horrible migraines, i actually went an got the piercing when i had a migraine. While u get the piercing u will hear a pop and yes it hurts. make sure u clean 2-3 times a day.
tragus: the tragus wasn’t bad at all, i did feel a little pressure maker sure u clean 2-3 times a day !!
hopefully, i get the septum neextttt🙂!

When considering getting a piercing, it's essential to understand the pain scale and healing times associated with each type. Lobes typically rank low on the pain scale at around 1/10, often described as merely a warm sensation followed by minimal irritation. However, piercings like the rook and daith can be significantly more uncomfortable, with the rook averaging around 5/10 due to noticeable pressure feelings, and the daith often rated at 6/10 as it can be particularly painful, especially for those with existing headaches. Aftercare is crucial; cleaning piercings 2-3 times a day helps prevent irritation and infections. Knowing these factors will guide your decisions in joining the world of piercings safely and confidently. Whether you're an experienced enthusiast or a curious beginner, understanding these dynamics is key to a positive experience.
