One tip I always follow is preheating the airfryer for about 3-5 minutes before adding the food. This helps achieve an even cooking temperature. I set my timer typically between 15-20 minutes for chicken pieces, flipping halfway through to ensure uniform crispiness. For fries, whether frozen or homemade, cooking at 200°C (about 400°F) for 15 minutes usually works well. Tossing them in a little olive oil and seasoning with salt, paprika, or garlic powder elevates the flavor. Cleaning the airfryer after use is surprisingly easy if done right away. I found using non-abrasive sponges and mild dish soap keeps the basket and tray in good condition without scratching the non-stick cooking surface. Beyond the usual recipes, I’ve tried experimenting with different coatings for the chicken, such as panko breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese and herbs, which added an irresistible golden crust.
