Morning Routine with my toddler
🧸 Started the morning by feeding him breakfast. It’s the first day of summer, so I let him have a donut with milk and half a banana. I forgot to take a picture!
🧸After breakfast, we both got dressed for the day—and of course, we couldn’t forget our sunnies. No matter how short or long our walk is, I always bring his water cup to make sure he stays hydrated.
🧸After our 45-minute walk, he played independently but would occasionally grab my hand to join him. He played with his kitchen set, and we pretended to go grocery shopping. I’m still working on his play area—I plan to add a cash register for checking out groceries, and I’m going to buy him pots, pans, and more play items.
🧸After about 25 minutes of play, he sat down to enjoy a chilled banana and chia smoothie. Then we read some of his books—he really enjoys interactive ones.
🧸After story time, we crafted a watermelon—such a fun way to remember what his handprint looks like this summer. I love seeing how his handprints grow through each craft.
🧸After art time, he was tired and went down for a nap. That wrapped up our morning.
