Crockpot Dr Pepper bbq ribs 😋
Ingredients:
Rack of ribs whatever you like bone in or boneless either or I’ve made both
Sweet baby rays Honey bbq sauce
2 cans Dr Pepper
Salt and pepper
Directions: Salt and pepper your ribs then place ribs in the crockpot, add your bbq sauce on top (No certain amount measure with your ❤️) Add in your two cans of Dr Pepper (I used 2 cans cause we had a lot of ribs). Then cook on low for 6-8 hours. (Didn’t get a result pic cause everyone had already devoured them) #crockpotrecipes #drpepper #crockpotmeals #bbqribs #dumpandgo
Using a crockpot to make BBQ ribs is a convenient way to achieve tender, flavorful meat without the need for constant attention. The combination of Dr Pepper and Sweet Baby Ray's Honey BBQ sauce creates a unique flavor profile—Dr Pepper adds a subtle sweetness and slight tanginess that complements the smoky barbecue sauce perfectly. When preparing ribs, you can choose either bone-in or boneless depending on your preference, as both options work well in the slow cooker. Before cooking, seasoning the ribs with salt and pepper enhances their natural flavor. Pouring two cans of Dr Pepper over the ribs helps to tenderize the meat thanks to the soda's carbonation and acidity. Cooking the ribs on low heat for 6 to 8 hours allows the flavors to meld and ensures the meat becomes juicy and falls off the bone. For best results, once cooked, you can finish the ribs on a grill or under a broiler for a few minutes to caramelize the sauce, adding a slightly crispy and smoky exterior. This recipe is ideal for busy days or when you want a no-fuss meal that still impresses. Enhance your crockpot BBQ rib experience by pairing the ribs with classic sides such as coleslaw, baked beans, or cornbread. Experimenting with different BBQ sauces or adding spices like smoked paprika or garlic powder can also customize the dish to your taste. Incorporating this easy crockpot recipe into your meal planning will provide a reliable and delicious way to enjoy BBQ ribs any time, all while using accessible ingredients and simple steps.
