ASMR Classroom morning routine ✨☺️🩷
Don’t mind Scar talking in the background 😅 she’s still learning about how these ASMR videos work lol #teacher #kindergartenteacher #kindergarten #morningroutine #classroom #asmr #classroomsetup
You know that feeling when you step into a quiet classroom before the hustle and bustle of the day begins? It’s a magical moment, a chance to set the tone for everything that’s to come. For me, my ASMR classroom morning routine isn’t just about making a video; it’s a genuine ritual that transforms our kindergarten space into a truly relaxing classroom, ready for little learners. Creating a calming environment is so crucial, not just for the children but for us teachers too. When I walk in and everything feels organized and serene, it immediately puts me at ease, and I believe that positive energy radiates to my students. It helps them feel safe, focused, and ready to learn, rather than overstimulated. So, how do I achieve this peaceful vibe? First, I focus on the visuals. Harsh fluorescent lights can be a real mood-killer, so I often dim them or rely on softer lamps where possible. Decluttering is key – a messy space feels chaotic. I make sure everything has its place, from art supplies to storybooks. It's part of my 'classroom setup' philosophy. I love displaying calming colors and natural elements, like plants, to bring a bit of the outside in. Even the simple act of arranging chairs neatly contributes to the overall tranquility. Then there's the soundscape. While ASMR videos focus on specific triggers, I apply those principles to the background hum of the classroom. Before the kids arrive, I might play some very gentle, instrumental music, or simply enjoy the quiet sounds of my own preparations. The gentle rustle of papers as I sort worksheets, the soft click of pens as I get ready, checking that our interactive 'Newline Cast' device is updated (sometimes you get those 'Install update' pop-ups right when you're busy!) – these seemingly mundane tasks become part of my personal calming symphony. Ensuring the tech, like the Newline Cast, is ready and updated is part of the quiet hum of preparation, making sure everything runs smoothly later. My morning routine also involves checking over the learning centers, making sure all the materials are accessible and inviting. For kindergarteners, having designated, cozy spots, like a reading nook with soft cushions, can make a huge difference in creating a relaxing classroom. It’s about creating nooks where they can feel secure and focused. Throughout the day, I try to maintain this calm. We practice quiet transitions, use calming voices, and incorporate mindful moments, even if it's just a minute of deep breathing. It’s amazing how much these small efforts compound to create a consistently relaxing classroom experience for everyone. My hope is that by consciously crafting this peaceful beginning, I’m helping my students develop a love for learning in an environment where they feel completely at home and at ease.
