getting the girls ready ✨🥰
look at Jayde, little miss independent lol I can’t even be upset bc they watch mama do it all 🤞🏼💗 I get asked often what is the hardest part about being a mom.. for me, it’s not the feeding, baths, getting dressed, etc… it’s the conversations. it’s finding the balance between the adult/child relationship, but also creating a long lasting friendship. when you’re their friend they trust you, however, they still need that guidance and love too 🫶🏼 wouldn’t trade this for the world 🌎 #girlmom
Being a mom to girls brings unique joys and challenges, especially when it comes to parenting beyond the daily tasks like feeding and dressing. One of the most profound aspects of motherhood is navigating the conversations that help shape your children's understanding of the world and their place in it. I’ve found that striking a balance between the adult/child dynamic and fostering a true friendship with my daughters builds a foundation of trust that enriches our relationship. This balance isn't about letting go of parental guidance but about blending love and openness in a way that encourages honest communication. When daughters see their mom as a friend, they feel safe sharing their thoughts, worries, and triumphs, which strengthens their confidence and emotional security. Yet, they still need clear boundaries and gentle direction, which help them grow responsibly. In my experience, moments like getting the girls ready—whether it’s preparing them for the day or going out—are opportunities for meaningful conversations. These seemingly small routines become the backdrop for sharing life lessons, encouraging independence, and expressing unconditional love. They learn by watching their mom handle responsibilities with care and positivity, which often inspires them to embrace their own independence. Motherhood is a lifelong journey filled with evolving roles, but the goal remains constant: to nurture a bond that lasts well beyond childhood. Embracing both the challenges and delights of this role has been a humbling and enriching experience that I cherish deeply and wouldn’t trade for anything in the world.

She is such a good mom
