Come with me to my first day of class at Columbia
So excited for the fall semester!! I as the years go on I have really come to love my time at Columbia and I am so grateful for it!
The biggest take away of today is to not over work yourself when you don’t have work to do. Today was a very chill day for me, and I think you need to have those in order to be successful in your hectic days!
If anyone has any questions about Columbia, pls ask!!

Starting college is an exhilarating journey filled with new experiences. Columbia University offers a vibrant campus life, where students can explore various activities alongside their academic pursuits. On my first day, I kickstarted the day at a gym, albeit one that had its quirks—free and conveniently located! After a refreshing shower and changing into an outfit of the day (OOTD), I treated myself to a delightful coffee, embracing the little joys that the day brought. The campus was breathtaking, showcasing its stunning architecture and vibrant surroundings—a perfect backdrop for learning. Although I only had one class, it set a positive tone for the semester. Engaging with professors and classmates creates a community that is vital for academic success. Lunchtime introduced a wonderful experience with food trucks offering a variety of cuisines, making lunch not just a meal but a social gathering. I also dedicated some time to research, balancing productivity with relaxation. It's essential to be mindful of managing workloads to avoid burnout, especially in a new environment where distractions abound. Lastly, I took a moment to reflect on my goals for the semester, fostering a mindset of gratitude and intention. For anyone curious about Columbia or college life in general, feel free to ask me questions! Whether you're contemplating college or are a freshman tackling these new waters, remember to embrace each moment and make the most of your journey!
