organize my Google drive with me for my semester
One of the best ways you can set yourself up to be successful at university is by staying organized and my best tip for that is to have color coordinated everything which is why I set up my Google Docs like this.
I also really like organizing it this way because if I ever want to go back and look at old assignments for later classes or later projects or something, I have it all there outlined very easily.
Also, this is really helpful for in canvas when you’re uploading your assignments to help to make sure that you upload the right thing.
Personally, I don’t outline all of my assignments at the beginning of the semester and I only create them once I’m starting to work on them, but that’s something that I might try next semester.

Staying organized is pivotal for student success, and Google Drive can be your perfect partner. Begin by creating dedicated folders for each semester and further subfolders for individual classes. This not only keeps your documents tidy but also simplifies the process of revisiting older assignments when necessary. Color coordinating these folders can enhance visibility and help link them to physical notes or online resources like Canvas. By aligning folder colors with your subject themes or personal notebooks, you create a visual cue that aids memory and navigational ease. It's beneficial to store all relevant assignments, lecture notes, and project materials in their respective folders right after creation, making it easy to locate files when deadlines approach. Consider outlining your assignments at the semester's start or as projects arise. This proactive method can help prevent last-minute rushes and support better time management. And remember, regular maintenance of your Google Drive ensures you stay on top of your academic game. Delete outdated files and categorize information as needed to maintain a clutter-free digital space. By leveraging Google Drive wisely, you can enhance your productivity and focus on achieving your academic goals rather than spending valuable time searching for lost documents.

OOOO i didn’t know you could change the folder colors!
