My favorite moments from spring semester 🤍🌼📝
This semester has been one of my favorites yet!! Mostly because I’ve really started to prioritize the things that I’ve noticed make me the most happy like research, teaching dance volunteering, and romanticizing my studying!!
I’m in my third year of my PhD, which has been my favorite so far. The main reason is because you get to switch a focus on research which means you have more flexibility and your schedule and I got to do more traveling which is really fun!!
So here is your sign to start doing more of what you love while in school!!

As a graduate student, embracing the vibrant moments of each semester can significantly enhance your academic experience. This spring semester, I found joy in balancing research and teaching dance while advocating for personal happiness amidst rigorous study schedules. Participating in events like Girls Science Day inspires students and fosters a love for learning in future generations. Traveling for conferences, such as the upcoming trip to Maryland, contributes to personal growth and provides networking opportunities. It also widens your perspective and enriches your academic pursuits. Engaging in volunteer activities and supporting initiatives that encourage creativity can lead to lasting memories and a fulfilling semester. Whether it’s working on thesis projects or participating in various extracurriculars, prioritizing what ignites your passion is essential. Embracing every opportunity allows you to cultivate connections with peers who share similar goals and experiences. Remember, each moment holds potential—so make the most of your graduate school journey!
