Dear Diary I made it thru my double Masectomy in one piece. I did get need that I had more cancer in my lymph nodes than previously though so they took out 31 lymph nodes. Not ideal but taking it one step at a time. By the way it really hurts😬 #cancerjourney #doublemastectomy #cancersucks

Finding out you have triple negative breast cancer that has spread to the axillary lymph node at 38 weeks pregnant was definitely not how i pictured my life going. I am currently almost a year and a half past my cancer diagnosis. In that time I’ve had two surgeries and radioactive treatment as well as constant medication and monitoring to make sure we managed it. While I can say that surviving thyroid cancer gave me strength, it also has made me hyper-aware
