School’s back in session ✏️📓

I’m currently in school getting my bachelors degree in health information management. I had the last week off from classes & today we’re back at it!

I’m 10 courses away from earning my degree (11 if you include HIM0050, the prerequisite for HIM4950 that doesn’t actually count towards any credits) & I’m desperate to be done with school already. So I’m tripling up on classes for fall session four & doubling up for spring session one so that I can be done by this time next year.

In an attempt to stay on track of all my assignments & life in general, I’m gonna be leaning a little heavier on canva & goodnotes to help digital plan & make sure I don’t miss anything.

Wish me luck y’all!

Read moreAs the fall semester kicks off, many students like myself are gearing up for a whirlwind of classes and assignments, especially in specialized fields like health information management (HIM). Balancing coursework can be challenging, but utilizing digital planning tools such as GoodNotes and Canva can greatly enhance productivity. In HIM programs, understanding the nuances of health care data management, compliance, and analytics is crucial. Many courses emphasize the importance of practical experience, often requiring students to engage in professional practice internships. This hands-on learning is vital for applying theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges. Moreover, networking and participating in study groups are effective ways to share knowledge and support one another through rigorous schedules. For those interested in HIM, exploring ongoing trends, such as telehealth and health data privacy regulations, can provide depth to your studies and your future career. As you embark on a new school year, consider setting realistic goals for your studies. Whether it's joining study groups or utilizing digital tools, each strategy contributes to your academic success in health information management. So, let's strive together for a productive semester!
