What ‘Ocean Eyes’ by Billie Eilish looks like to me

This was a special one. To me, the sounds of music move in many ways like nature. This song in particular has moments that sway and ebb, much like the tide in the ocean. Not often do the lyrics in a song connect to the actual visuals of the music for me, but this is an exception. 🌊

This was also my first ocean-side painting, and with it came a chaos I wasn’t expecting. My paint bottles, easel, and brushes nearly blew into the ocean so many times…and yet this was one of the most peaceful and connected painting sessions I’ve had.

Many more outdoor paints to come. Let me know if there’s a beautiful outdoor place you’d recommend I turn into my studio next!
