My OOTD
OOTD
While I did wear this to school, it is also a decent summer casual outfit.
✨Outfit Details: Top is Dalia, Pants Nicole Miller and are 100% Linen which is great for South GA heat. Shoes and purse finish it off. The best part, is these pieces were all thrifted from my local Goodwill for $.99 each.
Earrings were from Walmart (pack deal for $4), bracelets, one from Salt & Light and the other DIY.
The necklace was a gift.
Thrifting for summer clothes is one of the best ways I've found to stay cool and stylish without breaking the bank. Linen pants, like the Nicole Miller ones mentioned, are a summer staple because of their breathability and lightweight feel, which is perfect for places with hot weather like South Georgia. When I shop at thrift stores like Goodwill, I always keep an eye out for quality fabrics such as linen, cotton, or silk that help keep me comfortable all day. An outfit built around one or two statement thrifted pieces can be easily elevated with simple, affordable accessories from stores like Walmart. For example, picking up a pack of earrings for just a few dollars and mixing in some DIY bracelets adds a personal touch and keeps costs down. I also love receiving unique pieces as gifts, like the necklace featured, which can add sentimental value to an outfit without extra spending. Combining thrift shopping with casual wearable pieces makes assembling outfits for school or casual summer days simple and sustainable. Using hashtags like #goodwillfashion, #thriftshopping, and #outfitonabudget can connect you with communities who share ideas and inspiration for stylish, low-cost looks. Overall, thrifting not only saves money but also supports eco-friendly fashion choices, making it a win-win for fashion lovers on a budget.
