He said it’s just ’cause she’s sick

I’m on a business trip right now, and my boyfriend has gotten super close with my friends — including Anna. Last night, he told me he was staying over at her place because she was “sick”.

When I FaceTimed her, she did look a little sniffly — red nose, tissues everywhere — but she wasn’t exactly dying. No coughing, no fever, just… conveniently cozy. Then this morning, I called my boyfriend and yep, he was still there. Stacey in pajamas, walking around like it’s Sunday brunch.

Like… why does a grown, healthy woman need my boyfriend to play nurse? 😭 I feel insane even having to say this, but I’m seriously fuming. Am I overreacting or is this as weird as it sounds?
