✨🤍 RECENT EATS : LAST WEEK
let’s chat about why meal prepping doesn’t 100% work for me. 1) i am a person who needs meal diversity so i don’t feel like i’m constantly eating the same meal over & over. 2) i love efficiency and left overs to save time, but cannot quite get to a full week meal prep! now, here’s what i do instead to save money and plan my meals — 1) buy for meals, i curate my grocery list on meals i’m going to make 2) keep one meal consistent a week for saving time, this is usually breakfast for me! 3) cook in larger batches so i don’t have to cook every day but can still have meal diversity!
let me know if you ever feel the same way, or what tips and tricks you use! and if you do happen to be a weekly meal prepper - i am jealous!
Meal prepping is a popular strategy to save time in the kitchen, but it often doesn’t suit everyone. If you crave variety, consider these methods to keep your meals exciting: First, focus on creating a diverse grocery list that caters to different dishes throughout the week. This prevents the boredom of repetitive meals. Second, pick one meal each week, such as breakfast, to prepare consistently. This helps streamline your cooking process while ensuring you have a reliable go-to meal. Lastly, embrace batch cooking! Preparing larger quantities of your favorite recipes means that you won't need to cook every day, yet you can still enjoy a range of flavors and nutrients. Besides these tips, remember to get inspired by current food trends and recipes, such as Chicken Caesar Salad or Vodka Pasta & Broccoli, which can easily be integrated into your weekly meal plan. Don’t forget to experiment with smoothies like Blueberry & Strawberry Honey Smoothies for a refreshing snack! With these strategies, you can make meal planning enjoyable and sustainable.
