My furry companion absolutely thrives on the open road, and honestly, seeing him live his best life makes every mile worth it. One of the first things I learned about RV living with a dog is the importance of creating their own comfortable space. Even in a smaller environment, having a designated spot where they can relax is key. My dog absolutely loves his outdoor chair – you know, the comfy one by the RV where he can soak up the sun and watch the world go by. It’s like his personal throne! We also make sure he has his favorite patterned mat near the entrance, a little piece of home wherever we park. Safety is another big consideration when you're rving with pets. We have a 'Beware of the Dog' sign on our door, not just as a warning, but also as a reminder that this is his home too! It's crucial to ensure their harnesses are secure for travel, and we always keep an eye on the temperature inside the RV, especially when we step out. Making sure they have plenty of water, especially on warmer days, is non-negotiable. Daily routines can be tricky on the road, but dogs love routine, so we try to keep ours as consistent as possible. It truly turns every trip into a shared adventure, proving that life on the road is indeed living his best life.
