The bag broke at the airport. How to do? (Share real experience
Back from Japan around here, I got a "broken bag." 😅
So let's share the claims process in case anyone finds an incident like this.
📌 Step-by-Step:
Instant's Czech: Get the Bag Immediately. Check the Bag. Find the Break. Do not leave the Bag Receiving Zone.
Going to Baggage Services: My flying Thai Airways agent issued Damage Report very quickly.
Pick a repair shop: The agent will give you a list (I chose Lucky Baggage because I arrived)
Prepare Document: The Real Damage Report Leaf
🚩 Caution (million asterisks):
If the bag is damaged so hard that it cannot be repaired, he will ask for a "real receipt" to evaluate the replacement price, if it does not exist (like I used for 8 years), maybe it will be compensated by the airline, which may not be worth it!
Anyone who travels often recommends taking pictures of receipts stored in the Cloud. Missing like me will be cold. ❄️

นอกจากขั้นตอนเคลมที่แนะนำแล้ว สำหรับใครที่ต้องเดินทางบ่อยๆ ผมขอแชร์เทคนิคเก็บหลักฐานเด็ดคือการถ่ายรูปใบเสร็จและสภาพกระเป๋าตั้งแต่ยังใหม่ แล้วเก็บใน Cloud หรือในมือถือไว้เลยครับ เพราะหากใบเสร็จตัวจริงสูญหาย จะช่วยให้เราใช้รูปถ่ายในการยืนยันประเมินมูลค่ากระเป๋าได้ง่ายขึ้น อีกเรื่องที่ผมได้เรียนรู้จากการเคลมครั้งนี้คือการเลือกร้านซ่อมที่สะดวกและไว้ใจได้ เช่น ร้าน Lucky Baggage ที่มารับกระเป๋าถึงที่บ้าน ทำให้ประหยัดเวลาและลดความยุ่งยากมากขึ้น นอกจากนี้ หากใช้บริการประกันการเดินทางหรือประกันกระเป๋าด้วย เช่น MSIG อย่าลืมแจ้งเคลมกับประกันควบคู่ไปด้วย เพราะจะช่วยเพิ่มวงเงินชดเชยและลดความเสี่ยงที่จะได้รับเงินไม่พอดีกับความเสียหายจริง ท้ายที่สุด อย่าลืมตรวจเช็กสภาพกระเป๋าทันทีหลังรับจากสายพาน และหากพบความเสียหายอย่าออกจากโซน Baggage Claim เพราะจะทำให้สิทธิ์การเคลมของเราผิดพลาดได้ การรู้ขั้นตอนและเตรียมพร้อมล่วงหน้าแบบนี้ ทำให้การเดินทางของผมราบรื่นขึ้นมาก แม้ต้องเจอกระเป๋าแตกก็ไม่เครียดเท่าเดิมครับ!
