Brahmin ordained for seven days at Phaniad temple.

In early 2025, we ordained Brahmin for seven days at the Phaniad Temple, Chumphon.

The temple provides a cloister of nuns. Some items are provided, such as 8 beds, mattresses, pillows, blankets, fans, laundry basin. There are 2 showers and 4 bathrooms in the cloister. Other items we prepare for ourselves.

Who decided to go to ordain at Phaniad Temple. The temple has us to write the genus as a death cover, offering tri-cloth, rain bathing cloth, and water pebble. Also, the atmosphere at the temple is very quiet, suitable for the right way.

Routine Day 1 - Day 7

- 05.00-06 00. Prayer. Morning.

- 6: 30 a.m., tea, coffee, candy

- 07.00-09 20 p.m. Clean up.

- 9: 30 a.m. Prayer with relatives who come to make merit, receive blessings, food to the monks.

- 11.00-12 00. Dining.

- 12.00-12 50 p.m. Clean up.

- 12.50-13 00. Rest.

- 14.00-16 30 p.m. Clean up (Garbage sweep, Floor mopping, Bathroom cleaning)

- 16.30-18 40 p.m. Private business.

- 19.00-20 00 p.m. Prayer. Make it cool.

- 20.00-20 40. Listen to the sermon.

- 21.00-22 30 p.m. Sitting, Jean (Some days don't sit)

- 10: 30 p.m. Return to residence.

Those who come to Yom Kippur practice at the temple are required to Yom Kippur 8. The key is to abstain from eating after noon to dawn the next day.

🗣️ further advise: Before going to ordain, contact with the nuns at the temple before going to ordain in order to allocate enough accommodation to the practical.
