Metal slinger book review
All and all 4/5
This author made me stop dead in my tracks at the end of the book when I realized what was happening. But you didn’t have to pull a Rebecca Yarros twist on me. I liked the world building there was a lot of different fantasy elements to it. All and all it was good, thankfully the next one comes out soon because imma need it

Wow, picking up Metal Slinger Book One by Rachel Schneider was one of the best decisions I've made recently! The original review only scratched the surface of how impactful this book truly is. As a long-time fantasy reader, I've come across my fair share of twists, but the one Rachel Schneider pulled off in Metal Slinger genuinely left me speechless. You know that feeling when an author just completely upends everything you thought you knew? That's exactly what happened here. It wasn't just a simple plot twist; it was a fundamental shift that made me immediately go back and re-evaluate everything I'd just read. It reminded me of those mind-bending reveals you sometimes find in other epic fantasy series, the kind that makes you question the very nature of the world the author has so meticulously crafted. Speaking of world-building, that’s another area where Metal Slinger truly shines. The review mentioned a lot of different fantasy elements, and it's so true! It's not just your typical elves and dragons (though who doesn't love those?), but a really unique blend that feels fresh and inventive. I found myself completely immersed in the diverse landscapes and intricate societies Rachel Schneider has created. From ancient, forgotten magic to advanced, almost futuristic technologies, the way these elements are woven together is masterful. It felt like stepping into a universe where every corner held a new surprise, and the rules of engagement were constantly evolving. This rich tapestry is what makes the inevitable wait for Metal Slinger Book 2 so excruciating! And believe me, the wait is excruciating. After that explosive ending, all I can think about is *Metal Slinger Book 2*. What happens next? How will the characters, especially those directly impacted by "the twist" – perhaps even characters like Jovie, who readers might be particularly invested in – navigate this new reality? The first book sets up so many intriguing possibilities, leaving readers with a myriad of questions about prophecies, alliances, and personal destinies. I envision Metal Slinger Book 2 delving deeper into the consequences of the events in *Book One*, exploring the ethical dilemmas and the power struggles that are now set into motion. Will we see new factions emerge? Will old loyalties be tested even further? The anticipation for Metal Slinger Book 2 isn't just about resolving cliffhangers; it's about seeing how Rachel Schneider continues to expand this incredible world. I'm hoping for more revelations about the origins of the magic systems, deeper character development, and perhaps even a look into the history that led to the current conflicts. For anyone who loves a good fantasy read with unexpected turns and rich lore, Metal Slinger Book One is an absolute must-read. It’s got all the ingredients for a series that will keep you on the edge of your seat, eagerly awaiting each new installment. If you're searching for your next fantasy obsession, especially if you're curious about the enigmatic Jovie or just craving more of this world, then dive into *Metal Slinger*. You won't regret it, but be warned – you'll be counting down the days until the sequel, just like me!
