May is Mental Health Awareness Month 🤍

And these aren’t just bracelets… they’re reminders.

“ADVOCATE.”

“COMPASSION.”

“BE WELL.”

“I ❤️ THERAPY.”

“HEALING.”

Every word carries something we don’t always say out loud.

Some days healing looks like therapy.

Some days it looks like choosing yourself.

Some days it’s simply getting through the day.

These pieces were created for the quiet battles…

for the women rebuilding…

for the ones learning that needing help does not make you weak.

You are allowed to heal out loud.

You are allowed to take up space.

You are allowed to start again.

This month—and every month—choose you. 🤍

I personally found that wearing symbolic reminders like bracelets with words such as “ADVOCATE,” “COMPASSION,” and “HEALING” helped me stay grounded during difficult times. These words aren't just decorative; they serve as daily encouragement to prioritize my mental wellness and form a habit of kindness toward myself. Healing takes many shapes—some days it means attending therapy sessions and being vulnerable, other days it might simply be getting through a tough moment or consciously choosing your well-being over external pressures. Understanding that needing support does not indicate weakness has been one of the most powerful realizations in my journey. It opened the door to seeking help actively rather than hiding the struggle. I’ve learned that healing out loud and taking up space are essential acts of self-worth. This mindset shift encourages embracing every phase of recovery without shame, including moments of setbacks. Mental health isn’t linear; it’s a continuous process of inner work and emotional healing. May—and everyday—is an opportunity to choose you. Wear your reminders, practice self-compassion, and connect with communities advocating mental health awareness. Together, we can break the stigma, promote wellness, and support each other on the healing journey.
