I’m "Panning" my ENTIRE KITCHEN 🧼
Project Pan isn't just for makeup! I realized I had 4 different dish soaps and 3 boxes of foil. I am officially on a "Household No-Buy" until every single backup is gone. It clears the clutter and stops the "just in case" spending at Target.
When I first heard about Project Pan, I thought it only applied to makeup, but applying it to household items like dish soap and foil has been a game-changer. I bought multiple backups of these items over time, not realizing how much unnecessary clutter built up. Starting a Household No-Buy challenge forced me to use what I already had before purchasing more, which helped me save money and reduce waste. In my experience, this approach also helps to stop the 'just in case' shopping trips that often lead to overspending, especially at stores like Target where so many tempting products are displayed. Using up every last bit of those dish soaps and foil boxes gave me a sense of accomplishment and made my kitchen feel more organized. If you're considering doing a Project Pan for your kitchen, I recommend taking inventory of all similar items and setting a clear goal to finish what you have. It’s amazing how much you can clear clutter and avoid unnecessary purchases this way. Plus, it encourages more mindful consumption—a good habit for both your wallet and the environment.

Yep. Methodically going through each room in my house. Including closets, storage spaces, junk drawers, etc. Sorting out duplicates and getting rid of extras, using up old stuff first. Screen saver on phone says, "Spend no dime, before it's time". 😂
