Assassins, Darkness, Blood, Oh My!
Diving into this rollercoaster of a book, I personally had a difficult time getting into it. As many of the fantasy books I've read are third person from no particular person's view or first person, Nevernight by Jay Kristoff is a very unique and different narrator style perspective as if there is someone telling you the story rather than you just reading it on a page.
Though it was uncomfortable reading it to begin with, due to this, I did find the book became more and more grabbing, and I became completely and helplessly invested! From flashbacks to present-day adventures and trails, it was a wild ride of emotion, and I had no idea the book would end the way it did!
