I started a new thing.
On days I know I won't make it to the gym I go for morning walks before work. I live across the street from the river and we have trails and an island with a path I can go for walks on. The trail is over a mile to the end and back home and the island is about 3 miles there and back home. Lately the mosquitoes have been bad on the island so I haven't been going there as much. Here are some pretty pictures I've taken.

Incorporating morning walks into your daily routine can significantly enhance your physical and mental well-being. Studies suggest that walking for just 30 minutes can improve cardiovascular health, boost mood, and help with weight management. It's a low-impact exercise that can be tailored to fit any fitness level. Finding walking trails near you can make this activity even more rewarding. For instance, walking along rivers or in parks not only provides scenic views but also can help alleviate stress. Consider bringing along a camera to capture the beauty of nature during your walks. While there may be challenges, such as weather conditions or pesky insects, staying consistent can help solidify this new habit. Many people find that sharing their progress on social media or with friends can motivate them to stick with their routine. Engage with online communities focused on fitness journeys or healthy lifestyles to exchange tips and experiences. Overall, making the choice to walk in the mornings can transform your health and outlook on life. Start with short distances and gradually increase as you build stamina, keeping track of your steps and calories to stay motivated on your journey.
