I've been quiet
I have been trying to get back into the gym regularly. I did really well in January but then in February I got sick. My step kid goes to public school and I am a cosmetologist who works for great clips and so I do about 20 haircuts a day, meaning I work with the public.
Everyone was getting sick, there was a stomach bug and sinus bug going around. Unfortunately I ended up getting both and then it turned into a sinus infection so I was out for like 3 weeks. And I don't know if I'm the only one, but I get gym guilt. I feel bad when I don't go because I wanted to keep my progress up and it really helps with my mental health. However I can't get a good workout and I don't like feeling like I'm spreading germs in the gym when I'm sick.
Finally this month I started a intermediate Pilates challenge. I have 8 more workouts to go before I'm done and can move on to the advanced 30 day challenge. Mix that with weight training and cardio at the gym and I'm finally getting my muscle tone back.
And so the work on myself continues.
