Skin care buys and why 🤲🏽
My skin has been going through twist and turns for months now. I’ve been trying new products to see what works best because my skin will become immune to products and stop working. I want to say I have sensitive dry skin. I see redness and feel my skin become dry.
I shuffle with dark marks and hyperpigmentation EVERYWHERE ☹️ so I purchased products for my face and body 🙂
I recommend anua I used the red one and my face has cleared a lot but it’s a stronger version , the red (10% nincinamide) is for dark spots and pink(5% nincinamide) is for brightness of skin.
** All are new products for me to try! I won’t use all at the same time I don’t want to cause breakouts so the axis y I’ll use first on my face.
I’ve been looking for products to detox and I’ve used cholorophyll for years on and off but this time I want to make it a habit and see if I notice differences 🩷

It’s truly a journey battling dark spots and hyperpigmentation, isn't it? Just like my own skin, I know many of you are searching for effective solutions to finally achieve that clear, even-toned complexion. While I’m sharing my personal product discoveries, I also wanted to dive a bit deeper into how I approach tackling these stubborn marks, which might help you too, no matter what specific ‘dark spot remover’ you're considering. First off, understanding what causes your dark spots is key. Mine are mostly post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) from past breakouts. When I’m looking for a new 'dark spot remover serum' or cream, I always check for powerhouse ingredients. Niacinamide, like the one in the Anua serums I mentioned, is fantastic for brightening and barrier support, especially for sensitive skin. Vitamin C is another hero for its antioxidant and brightening properties. Alpha Arbutin is also on my radar for inhibiting melanin production, and gentle AHAs or BHAs can help with cell turnover to fade existing spots. My recent 'skincare haul' definitely focused on a mix of these! Now, for the 'how to use' aspect – this is crucial, especially if you have sensitive skin like me. I always start with a patch test. Seriously, don't skip this step! Once clear, I incorporate a 'dark spot corrector' or serum gradually. For example, I might use it every other night after cleansing with a gentle 'purple cleanser bottle' I've found, and before my moisturizer. Consistency is king here; results aren't overnight. Layering is important too: I make sure my skin is clean, apply the serum, let it absorb, and then follow with a hydrating moisturizer. And let's not forget the non-negotiable step: 'sunscreen'! No matter how amazing your 'dark spot remover' is, it won't work optimally if you're not protecting your skin from the sun. UV exposure can worsen existing spots and trigger new ones. I’m always on the hunt for a good 'black sunscreen tube' that doesn't leave a white cast, even with melanin-rich skin. For my fellow sensitive skin warriors, choosing 'vegan' or 'dermatologist-recommended' options, as pointed out in some of my new products, can make a huge difference. Avoid harsh scrubs or too many active ingredients at once to prevent irritation, which can actually lead to more dark spots. Slow and steady wins the race when it comes to sensitive skin and hyperpigmentation. Finally, I truly believe in an inside-out approach. My journey with 'liquid chlorophyll' for an 'internal detox' isn’t just a trend for me; it’s about supporting my skin from within. Hydration, a balanced diet, and managing stress all play a role in overall skin health and can complement your topical 'dark spot correction' efforts. It’s all about finding what works for your body and skin type.
