I roll out about palm size balls and flatten them and put and frozen tablespoon of peanut butter in the middle and surround the dough around it.
Put it in the oven at 350° for 8-10 mins or until the edges start to brown.
The process of browning butter adds a rich, nutty flavor and depth to your cookies that elevates them beyond the ordinary. Browning butter involves gently cooking it until the milk solids turn golden brown, releasing a toasty aroma and complex taste. In this cookie recipe, incorporating browned butter enhances the peanut butter and chocolate chip flavors. Make sure to allow the butter to cool to room temperature before mixing it with your dry ingredients to maintain the proper dough consistency. Freezing tablespoon-sized balls of peanut butter before embedding them into the cookie dough ensures that the peanut butter remains distinct and creamy after baking, creating a delightful surprise center in each cookie. This technique prevents the peanut butter from melting and running out during baking. For best results, flatten the dough balls evenly around the frozen peanut butter balls, sealing them completely to avoid leakage. Baking at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes allows the edges to get nicely golden, while keeping the centers soft and gooey. You can customize this recipe by adding a pinch of salt, especially if using unsalted butter, to balance the sweetness and enhance overall flavor. Using a combination of chocolate chips and peanut butter chips adds textural contrast and richness. This recipe is perfect for those seeking a unique twist on classic peanut butter cookies with a rich browned butter flavor and a delightful chocolate-peanut butter filling. It's an excellent treat to make for family gatherings, holidays, or simply to satisfy your sweet tooth with an indulgent homemade delight.
