Social media apps I use

Apps you can find me on if TikTok does get band you can find them in my profile link too

... Read moreHey everyone! 👋 Ever peeked at someone's phone screen and wondered what social media apps they actually use? I know I do! So, I thought I'd pull back the curtain and share my personal lineup of go-to platforms. My smartphone screen is basically my digital command center, filled with icons for connecting, creating, and getting inspired every single day. Let's start with the big three that probably live on most of our phones. TikTok is my absolute favorite for entertainment – from hilarious skits to quick recipes and fashion tips, it's an endless scroll of creativity. I love discovering new trends there! Then there's Instagram, which for me is all about visual storytelling and aesthetic pictures. I use it to share my travel adventures, daily outfits, and just connect with friends through beautiful photos and stories. And for those raw, in-the-moment chats and silly filters, Snapchat is still king for my closest circle. It’s that spontaneous, unpolished connection I really value. Next up, the bedrock of online connection: Facebook and Messenger. While I might not post as much on Facebook itself these days, it's indispensable for keeping up with family updates, local events, and specific interest groups. Messenger, of course, is my go-to for group chats and quick messages with almost everyone. But for deeper dives into niche interests and truly connecting with like-minded people, Discord has become a game-changer. I participate in servers dedicated to my favorite games, hobbies, and even creative writing. It’s a fantastic space for meaningful discussions away from the public feed. My phone screen also features some apps that offer a fresh perspective. Lemon8 has quickly become a gem for finding curated lifestyle content, fashion inspiration, and detailed reviews, all presented in a visually appealing, often collage-like format. It's truly a breath of fresh air for discovering new trends and sharing my own discoveries. I’ve also been exploring Fanbase, which is an exciting platform for creators to build and monetize their communities – it’s a cool way to support independent artists and creators. And for an amazing source of aesthetic product reviews, travel guides, and unique lifestyle ideas, particularly leaning into East Asian trends, Xiaohongshu (often called 'Little Red Book') is incredible. It’s a visual feast! You might notice I love a visually appealing phone! Arranging my social media app icons on my smartphone screen is a mini-project for me. I enjoy making sure everything is organized and sometimes even color-coordinated to create a pleasing social media icons collage look. It's not just about the functionality of the apps, but also about making my digital space feel organized and reflective of my personal style. The original thought behind sharing this was honestly, 'what if TikTok really did get banned?' It really made me think about having a diverse range of platforms. It’s great to have a backup plan and also to explore different communities and content styles. Whether you're looking for new apps to try or just curious about what's out there beyond the usual suspects, I hope this little tour of my digital world sparked some ideas for your own phone screen!
